We teach techniques that last a lifetime not just recipes that are easily forgotten.
Each day, students will: set up the kitchen; discuss menu techniques and preparation; learn principals of protein, vegetable, sauce and starch cooking; improve and correct knife skills; learn how to work as team, kitchen and food safety; setting tables, plating each dish and course, and finally, they will be responsible for the cleanup and break down of the kitchen each day BEFORE being dismissed.
Summer Jump Start: May 27-29, Easy 3 day camp! Start your summer cooking adventure early, with simple quick summer classics: Roasting, handmade ice creams and sorbets, fruit pies, easy hand-rolled pasta, quick sauces, easy flat breads and more!

Culinary and Pastry "Boot Camps": This camp is for all young foodies and aspiring chefs. These are challenging, technique and skills-based cooking programs that go far beyond "mixing and stirring" it up. The classes are fun, fast paced, and technically superior to any other cooking program on the market. We're bringing our collective experience as professional-level culinary instructors to your young cook. Our Culinary & Pastry Boot Camps give each students the opportunity to see what it's like to be a chef-in-training! We make 3-5 course meals each day!
If you love to cook and are hooked on TV food shows, this is the program for you! Ages 10-12 must speak with Chef Deb before signing up for this class!

Culinary Basics: This class is all about creating a strong foundation and improving cooking and kitchen skills. The class is paced for the beginner cook, but still offers the challenge of working in a professional kitchen atmosphere. We make simple 3-4 course meals each day.

Pastry Basics: If you love to bake, but are ready to move beyond basic 'cookies and brownies' this is your class. This is a 5-day class packed full of butter, sugar, flour, chocolate and amazing pastries, sweet breads and more!

*All classes at the Cook's Studio require a minimum of 6 students.
Family Dinners available!
In each program, every student will make enough food to eat during our group meal before the end of class.
Families who wish to order meals from each day's menu, may do so for an additional charge of $9 per person. Meals will consist of 1 serving of each item on the class menu for that day.
In order to stay green and keep costs down, we ask you to bring your own clean, reusable containers and please, place your order BEFORE the beginning of class.
